We would like to walk as a team to raise funds With helping Herts. All funds will be donated evenly to local charities including but not limited to Grove cottage, Mind Hertfordshire network, The Ollie Foundation, For baby's Sake and More.
My story
At Bupa Dental Care Bishops Stortford we have decided to Join Helping Herts on a charity walk to help make a difference to peoples life's. Helping Herts is a Hertfordshire wide charity campaign. All money raised will benefit 12 local partner charities. Each of them support young people in a variety of ways across the county.
These charities include
Grove Cottage Bishop's Stortford They provide social and educational activities for people of all ages with learning disability to develop their potential.
Herts MIND Network works across the county to support positive mental health and wellbeing.
Home Start Herts supports parents to be the best they can be, to improve children's outcomes. The earliest years make the biggest impact: Home-Start make sure those years count so that no child's future is limited.
Herts Young Homeless has a variety of FREE services open to all 16-24 year old's to are homeless or threatened with homelessness.
The Ollie Foundation Is a charity dedicated to delivering suicide awareness, intervention and prevention by empowering professionals and young adults in their own communities to lead suicide prevention activities.
The Phoenix Group Help Deaf children and young adults. As well as help support their families.
Play skill provides free expert support from pediatric physiotherapists, Occupational Therapists and speech and language therapists for pre-school children aged 10months to 5 years who have physical delays or disabilities.
For Baby's Sake is a program that helps parents experiencing domestic abuse make changes in their lives and end harmful behavior.
