CHEXS Coronation walk with Helping Herts
CHEXS works with disadvantaged & underperforming school-age children, & their families. Our aims are to raise children’s self-esteem, skills, wellbeing & aspirations, & address the behavioral/confidence issues stopping them from achieving their potential.
My story
Our Family Support charity employs a highly trained team to support both young people, parents & carers as well as the local community.
We offer a series of family projects from coaching, to outdoor projects in the community to help improve the lives of families living within Broxbourne, Cheshunt and Waltham Cross in Hertfordshire and the surrounding areas.
Our support is open to all families whose children attend our partnership schools in waltham Cross and the surrounding areas, and range from 1 to 1 parenting sessions, workshops, holiday activities. Our award winning GROWTH programme tackles mental health, self esteem and confidence issues & so much more.
A key reason for our success is that we help the whole family address the issues underlying a child’s challenges.
Through this approach, we not only directly support the child, but also raise parents’ ability to communicate with their children, improve family relationships and support child development.
We are delighted to be joining Helping Herts for this incredible walk around Hertfordshire. We joined Helping Herts back in January this year, along with 11 other charities. Any donations made to this page will be supporting not just CHEXS but 11 other VITAL children's charities across the whole of Hertfordshire.
